Making Paddington Bears famous marmalade sandwiches
During our literacy this term, we have covered a variety of stories from Excitable Edgar to Paddington Bear. The aim for the Paddington text was for the children to write their own instructions on how to make a marmalade sandwich. The children were excited about this piece of text because the children were allowed to make their own marmalade sandwiches, once they had written their instructions. All the children done a brilliant job writing their instructions, making their marmalade sandwiches and reading their instructions to a friend.
