Uniform Policy

School Uniform

Foundation, Year 1 & Year 2

• White polo shirt (with school logo optional)

• Green sweatshirt or green cardigan with school logo.

• Grey trousers, grey pinafore dress or skirt (all dresses/skirts must be of a length at least to the knee)

• Plain grey socks or white socks  (all socks must be conventional socks and not ‘trainer sock’ style)

• Sensible flat black shoes or trainers.

 

Seasonal variations:

• Cold weather – Children may wear dark grey or black tights.

• Warm weather – Children may wear grey, tailored shorts. Children may wear Green

gingham summer dresses (all dresses/skirts must be of a length at least to the knee).

 

Year 3, 4, 5 and 6

• White polo shirt (with school logo optional)

• Green sweatshirt or green  sweatcardi with school logo.

• Grey trousers, grey pinafore dress or skirt (all dresses/skirts must be of a length at least to the knee)

• Plain grey socks or  white socks   (all socks must be conventional socks and not ‘trainer sock’ style)

• Black shoes with sensible heel and fastening

 

Seasonal variations:

• Cold weather – Children may wear dark grey or black tights.

PE Uniform – All Years- P.E should be worn to school on P.E days. 

  • Yellow T shirt
  • Green hoodie or school jumper
  •  Black shorts
  • Plimsolls / trainers (Black or White)
  • Football boots (yrs 3 – 6)
  • Shin pads (yrs 3 – 6, Optional)

 

Seasonal variations:

• Cold weather – Children may wear dark tracksuit bottoms (Plain & without logos) for outdoor games.

 

Please Note:

• Long hair should be tied up; no metal hair clips should be worn.

• During Gymnastics and Dance sessions children will be barefoot in the hall.

• Plain ear studs should be removed and if they cannot be removed then a consent form, completed by the parent/carer must be completed before the child can take part in ANY physical activities.

 

Swim wear for years 3 and 4

Boys should wear above knee swimming shorts – no Bermuda beach shorts

Girls should wear swimming costumes – no bikinis

Long hair tied back with hair band

Swimming hats and goggles may be worn

No jewellery to be worn on swimming days

Jewellery

Children are not to wear jewellery to school but, in the case of children with pierced ears, they must wear plain studs and a permission form must be completed before they can take part in any physical activity (available from the school office).

 

Hair

Hair must be kept in its natural colour and tied back if shoulder length. Neither large hair adornments nor hair gel should be worn in school. Hair bands/scrunchies should be school colours (dark grey or red).

 

Nail Varnish

Nail Varnish is not allowed in school. If children wear this out of school, they must remove it before coming to school.

 

Coats

During colder weather, please ensure your child brings a coat with them to school. This must be an outdoor coat and not a hoody or a jumper.
