Pupil Premium

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

How do we look after our disadvantaged children?

The Pupil Premium is a government grant allocated to each pupil in receipt of free school meals, identified as  ‘child looked after (CLA)’ or whose parents are in the Forces. The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers nationally.

There is clear evidence that the Pupil Premium spending has had significant impact on the outcomes of this group of children at St Mark's.
