Lunch Menus

We are delighted to provide nutritionally balanced meals for all of our pupils

School meals

All the meals we provide are nutritionally balanced and meet stringent government guidelines.  Information about the menu and details of all allergens along with the process for ordering meals are available on our provider's website. Vegetarian options are provided and most special dietary requirements can be catered for.

The first step is to register your child with our school meal provider (Chartwells). Once this is done, meals can be ordered. If a special diet is required, for example because of an allergen or medical condition, then the providers will be in touch with the parent once registration is complete – this process is handled directly by the provider and not the school.

Managing Allergies in School

Our school manages allergies in accordance with our First Aid and Medical Conditions, Managing Medication and Allergy Policy which can be found on our policy pages here.

Our school is ‘Allergy Aware’; this means that school staff have an awareness of allergies and the 14 key allergens; they understand how to deal with an anaphylactic episode and encourage pupils, visitors and parents to be allergy aware and ensure that staff know how to manage a safe environment.

Hot School Meals are free for all of our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children under the Universal Free School Meals scheme.

If you are not in receipt of Free School Meals, hot lunches can still be ordered at the cost of £2.65 per meal.

As part of our healthy eating approach we provide all children with a daily fresh fruit snack at playtimes. Toast is also offered, parents are welcome to send children in with a fruit or vegetable snack. Reception children are offered toast later in the Autumn term as soon as the children are settled.
