Chartwells Update - September 2020

Due to the return to school guidance received for the new term, we have decided to continue with the Packed lunch service for the first half of the Autumn term 2020.

We will review this once we have had an opportunity to settle the children back to school and will keep you posted.

High quality hot school meals are provided at St Mark’s by the renowned company Chartwells which also supplies many other schools in the area.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

 

From September 2014 all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to ‘free school meals’.

 


Years 3, 4, 5 and 6

 

Children in Key Stage 2 may purchase hot meals by completing the on-line order form.  If your Key Stage 2 child is also entitled to free school meals because you are on income support / job seekers allowance / child tax credit, then you will continue to receive these as before.  Again weekly menus must be chosen from the school office.

 

If you are entitled then please claim as this is the local authority’s way of identifying children who may require additional support in school and the school will receive additional funding from the Government.
