Thankfulness Thoughts
Tue 03 Jan 2023Todays thought:
“Without thankfulness, nobody would forgive others.Thankfulness looks like a big world that is always caring, without it there would just be a big, empty space.
Thankfulness is like a big ‘thumbs up’; it makes you feel happy inside.
If people were not thankful, the world would come to a standstill and democracy would not be able to work. There would be no rules which would likely result in one angry ‘outburst’.
Without thankfulness, everyone would be ungrateful, selfish and more likely to turn against each other and we would not understand what it means to be ‘content’.
Thankfulness is about being grateful for what you have.”

Merry Christmas 2022
Sun 25 Dec 2022🎄From all the staff at St Mark’s CE Primary School, happy Christmas 🎄
Almighty God,
you make us glad with the yearly remembrance
of the birth of your Son Jesus Christ:
grant that, as we joyfully receive him as our redeemer,
so we may with sure confidence behold him
when he shall come to be our judge;
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen. -

Also, a heartfelt thank you to the Well-being group who have been busy knitting and crocheting blankets to give away to families that need a little extra homemade warmth.
We are enternally grateful for your kindness and support.

Staff enjoy a well earned shared lunch together.
Thu 15 Dec 2022‘The people who give you their food, give you their heart’…
the staff at St Mark’s took the opportunity to bring in a contribution to a staff shared lunch and what a treat it was! It was an opportunity to see everyone together (which rarely happens) in the staff room, chat, laugh and start to feel Christmassy after a busy few weeks. Thank you Mrs Routledge for organising it. -
