Harriet by Barbara Townsend
Tue 12 Dec 2023Today, our KS2 children have been gifted a book each.
This book was personally deliver by the author herself - Barbara Townsend, who wanted to gift all our children her book - Harriet 🐝🐝
We are so very thankful and we will be inviting Barbara back in the new year to work with our classes.
‘Harriet dares to be different. The unseen force that drives her and the colony disappears, leaving the bees confused and vulnerable. Their lives devastated by a deadly attack, this brave honey bee leads a group to safety and journeys to find a new home and her destiny.’🐝

Purbeck Tree Festival
Thu 07 Dec 2023Purbeck Christmas Tree Festival
We are so blessed to be a part of The Christmas Tree Festival. The children of St Mark’s CE Primary School all took part in designing their own decorations, with EYFS sprinkling the magic of glitter on their stars and Year 6, using their skills in paper quilling.
Each of the decorations are so individual, just like our pupils.
Today, was the day to decorate the tree, and we are sure you will agree, it is so beautiful and more so knowing it has been totally crafted and decorated by the children of St Mark’s themselves, with the final touch is that every child in St Marks has signed a Christmas card for you all to read
From everyone at St Marks’ CE Primary School, we wish you all a safe, warm and blessed Christmas. -
