Ducklings find out more about People who help us.
Fri 20 Jan 2023What a week it has been for our Ducklings! Their topic is ‘People who help us’ and look who came along to support this and share their knowledge!
Thank you to Regency Dental Practice for allowing Siobhan and Camilla to come along and tell us how they help our community and what happens when you go to see the dentist.
Then, we had a visit from PC Budden , who shared all about his job and then Mrs Burton was a bit naughty so she was handcuffed! We hope she has learnt her lesson and starts behaving!
Finally, Kerry our school nurse came in and told us how we can look after ourselves by eating well, drinking water, sleeping and exercising.
Thank you so much for your time, our Ducklings asked so many questions and took away so much information and went on to paint portraits of those people who help us.

Year 1 Dare to Believe Festival
Thu 19 Jan 2023Our sporting Thursday’s are back! Today, it was the turn of seven of our Year 1 pupils at the Dare to Believe Festival. This was an afternoon of new games using skills of jumping, throwing, balancing, running and working as a team.
It was the first time for our pupils at an event like this, and we cannot express how proud we are : they listened, participated, tried their best and represented our school perfectly.
All the games, gained points and our team proudly walked away with 353 points!! Lots of high 5’s and smiles. -

Thank you to Swanage Well-being Group
Thu 12 Jan 2023Not long ago,we received some crochet blankets from The Swanage Well-being group and we said they would make great reading blankets for the spring but we handed them all out to families in need of an extra layer of warmth.
Today, one of the ladies from The Well-being group has donated us 14 large fleece blankets for our children to use whilst reading outside. This really is so heartwarming and kind. Thank you so much! Now all we need is some warmer and dryer weather!
