Life Cycle of a Pumpkin
Our pumpkin life cycle
Over the rest of the school year we will watch our harvest pumpkin go though its life cycle.
"A life cycle is when it happens again and again"
"Our pumpkin will start as a pumpkin, then it will rot and turn mouldy. Next the seeds will germinate, and grow new pumpkin plants!"
Day 47
Today we buried our pumpkin. We checked to make sure it had sun, water, space and air so that it can grow.
"A plant needs 4 things, water, space, sun and air to grow really big"
"Soon our pumpkin will grow roots and germinate!"
