As part of our topic 'Swanage' we went to visit Swanage Pier. We learned about Swanage in the past and how it is different now. We looked at old photos of Swanage and the pier and compared it to the pier now. We found out that people would come to visit Swanage on the steam train and that it was a popular tourist destination. We were also able to go crabbing off the pier...unfortunately we only caught seaweed and some sea snails! We finished our morning with a delicious ice cream from Baboo's!

In DT we have been practising our snipping, chopping, spreading & grating skills. We then tasted lots of healthy ingredients, designed a healthy wrap and finally we got to eat our wrap!
