National Trust Dog art work

We’ve been working with the National Trust this month to raise awareness about wildlife on our local heathlands. It’s breeding bird season between February until August and we hope to encourage dog walkers to please keep their dogs on a short lead during this time.

As a way to encourage good doggy behaviour, we’ve painted a large arty dog to show people the importance of allowing birds like Nightjars and reptiles like Sand Lizards to rest and nest in peace.

The Arty Dogs will be out over half term along Slepe and Soldiers Road (either road side or just inside paths off the roads), so do explore the Purbeck Heaths and see if you can find all nine!
